The advantages and disadvantages of the UK in the EU
the European Union was set up in 1957 , the beginning of the EU was with six countries which is ( West Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Italy). The Europe Union consists of the European Council , the Council of Ministers , the European Commission , the European Parliament and the European Court of Justice . the population of the EU today is about 450 million people, Britain did not join the EU because of the good relationship with the USA. But , In 1973 , Britain , Denmark and the Republic of Ireland joined the EU, and now it's contain 25 countries.
The advantages of the EU are : the same currency all over Europe this will make the people more comfortable with their money and an easy way to spend without changing the currency. It gives the European citizens more choices and more freedom to work in another European country, an easier way to travel between each country, to get health services and to get education ...etc.
The disadvantages are : the UK will not take it's full freedom for example : if the the court makes a judge about someone and he didn't like what the court says he can push the judgement a little up to the European Court of Justice and they can make another judgement and they can say to the court in the UK what to do. Maybe the UK will not be a sovereign nation because if they are in the EU they should follow the rules in the EU , some rules may effect the economy and the development of the country in a bad way.
Okay but do you think it is good idea for Britain to belong to the EU or not?
