The Welsh Assembly

Roules of Welsh Assembly :-

The National Assembly for Wales is the democratically elected body that represents the interests of Wales and it's people, makes law for Wales, and holds the Welsh Government to account. The Welsh Assembly is made up of 60 elected Assembly Members. Forty are chosen to represent individual constituencies, and 20 are chosen to represent the five regions of Wales (North Wales, Mid and West Wales, South Wales West, South WalesCentral, and South Wales East). Assembly Members represent their area as a member of a political party or as an independent.

Do you think it is a good idea for Wales to have its own (lower level) government?

Yes, It's a good idea for Wales to have it's own lower level government because some laws in the UK wodn't be good for Welsh people and maybe there will be some problems in Wales because of that.

Would this system be successful in the Gulf state? Central America?

I think no because, in the gulf countries there are a law in everywhere around the gulf and that is the Islamic law, people all over the gulf follow the Islamic law, also, every country have some rules for it's own and the citizen's happey with it. however, In Central America they should have this system because there are a large countries and many people live there, so it will be more important in Central America rather than in the Gulf states.

Education in Qatar and in the UK

Nowadays, education is the most important thing for each country, first the education in Qatar, government provides free education for all children. The official language the curriculum is taught in is Arabic but English is commonly used. Education is compulsory for children aged between 6 and 15. The structure of the education system consists of elementary (primary), preparatory (intermediate), secondary and higher education. Boys and girls attend separate schools. Children attend elementary school from the ages of 6 through 12, preparatory school from the ages of 12 through 15 and then go on to secondary school for a further 3 years.

Second, education in the UK, by law, all children of compulsory school age (5 to 16) must receive a full time education that is suited to their age, ability, aptitude and special educational needs (SEN). Until 1988 schools were free to decide what they taught their pupils, with Religious Education being the only compulsory subject. As a result of the Education Reform Act 1988 The National Curriculum of England was developed and then introduced in 1992. Its aim was to make sure that all pupils had a balanced education by stating the topics that should be taught and the standards expected to be attained by pupils, Boys and girls attend mixed schools.

The advantages and disadvantages of the UK in the EU

The advantages and disadvantages of the UK in the EU

the European Union was set up in 1957 , the beginning of the EU was with six countries which is ( West Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Italy). The Europe Union consists of the European Council , the Council of Ministers , the European Commission , the European Parliament and the European Court of Justice . the population of the EU today is about 450 million people, Britain did not join the EU because of the good relationship with the USA. But , In 1973 , Britain , Denmark and the Republic of Ireland joined the EU, and now it's contain 25 countries.

The advantages of the EU are : the same currency all over Europe this will make the people more comfortable with their money and an easy way to spend without changing the currency. It gives the European citizens more choices and more freedom to work in another European country, an easier way to travel between each country, to get health services and to get education ...etc.

The disadvantages are : the UK will not take it's full freedom for example : if the the court makes a judge about someone and he didn't like what the court says he can push the judgement a little up to the European Court of Justice and they can make another judgement and they can say to the court in the UK what to do. Maybe the UK will not be a sovereign nation because if they are in the EU they should follow the rules in the EU , some rules may effect the economy and the development of the country in a bad way.
